Gonzalo Zulueta is a European-American actor, pilot, entrepreneur, host and model born and raised in Miami, FL. He is best known for his staring role as Nico in "This Never Happened", a Marvista FOX production for Tubi. Zulueta also interpreted the iconic villain Charly in "4 Ever" on Disney Plus. He currently earned his pilot certification from Pilot Training Center and now teaches our future pilot students on how to fly.
Leonardo Jaques is part of the music duo FariLeo with Farid Aldama, from Mexico City. IIn Episode 2, Jaques discusses his journey as an artist with his best friend Farid Aldama, from singing on the streets of Mexico to performing in concerts for large crowds.. Stephanie K. Nihon was born in Nassau, Bahamas. In Episode 4, Nihon explains her life on how she became a creator, co-writer, and producer of the first narrative children's TV show in the Bahamas, called "Goombay Kids."
Lockwood was born in Los Angeles, California, coming from a parents who were actors she started acting at an early age and she pursued her dream. Lockwood had been in shows and films such as from Hawaii Five-O, CSI New York, Shoot the Hero, and Lords of Dogtown and more. Most recently she worked on A Line of a Fire releasing this summer. Lockwood is the creator of an original vase jewelry designed to hold flowers called Fleurings. She is also a certified Bikram Yoga teacher and a fine art painter.
Christopher L. Mitchell was born in New York, and studied at both Fashion Institute of Technology and Pratt Institute. Mitchell has been visiting Haiti since childhood to see family. While he began photographing Kanaval during those visits, it wasn’t until moving to Haiti full-time in 2008 that he deeply immersed himself in documenting and interviewing for Kanaval and Souvenance. His work spans directing, filming, editing, and producing, reflecting his hands-on involvement in every aspect of the creative process.
Emmanuel “Manny” Millien, born in Port-au-Prince and raised in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, moved to Miami at sixteen. He studied at North Senior High, earned a degree in Travel & Tourism from Miami Dade College, and later a Hospitality Management degree from FIU. A passionate philanthropist, he founded the Miami International Voodoo Museum to preserve and promote Afro-Culture, especially Voodoo, through cultural tourism.
